GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — A Greenville County restaurant building with a long and colorful history has hit the century mark, current owner Deborah Schneider says. The Peddler Steak House has been serving customers for 50 years, but the history of the building is double that.

ABOUT THE PEDDLER STEAKHOUSE Earl’s great grandfather, Noah Ogle, established the city’s first grocery store on the other end of town in 1850. Steaks Sophisticated, Inc., the Tennessee franchisee for The Peddler Steakhouse chain acquired the cabin, renovated it, and opened it as a restaurant in 1976.
What do you wear to a peddler?

Again, other restaurants make much greater effort for comfort and consideration of guests. Overall.. You can get a steak as good in many other restaurants, service equally so also. The Peddler needs to accommodate guests with much more enthusiasm to be exceptional.
