Can you swim in Phoenix Lake California?
Phoenix Lake is one of seven reservoirs operated by the Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD). Dogs must be leashed and are not allowed to swim or drink from lakes or streams, so be sure to carry plenty of water and come prepared to pick up and pack out any deposits made by your dog.

The best access to Phoenix lake is the small parking lot located in Ross’s Natalie Coffin Greene Park, located at the end of Lagunitas Road. Since Phoenix Lake is a popular place, the parking lot tends to fill up quickly.

Bolinas Ridge Trail is a 21.9 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Olema, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The watershed is open daily from 7 a.m. to sunset. During extreme fire conditions, such as Red Flag Warnings, the watershed will be closed for public safety. Everyone is welcome, and we ask that you respect the watershed and respect each other.

Can you swim in Lake Lagunitas?
Taylor State Park, Lagunitas Creek flows from Kent Lake and fills a series of natural stone pools known as the Inkwells. When the water is deep enough, swimmers can jump from the rocks on the far side of the creek into the crisp water of the pools.
Is Mt Tam open during Covid?
The park is open from 7 a.m. to sunset. Cars parked after hours may be fined. There’s no main entrance fee, but East Peak, Pantoll and Bootjack trailheads have parking fees.
